Haiphong proposes constructing second international airport 15:54 | 09/03/2021 Haiphong would have a second international airport to support its rapid development Haiphong People’s Committee has proposed the Ministry of Transport to consider adding Tien Lang to the national airport planning in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision toward 2050. The project is expected to help Haiphong to realise its target of becoming one of the most developed cities in Asia. The proposal for Tien Lang Airport was tabled as part of the adjustments to the general planning of Haiphong city to 2035 with a vision to 2050, which is being appraised by the Ministry of Construction.
